Accessibility statement
Last reviewed:
At AB Sync we treat accessibility as part of doing the job properly, not as an add-on. We work to make this site usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, and we keep investing in that.
Conformance level
This site has been made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard IS 5568 ("Web content accessibility guidelines") and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations 5773-2013.
The site conforms to Level AA of WCAG 2.2 — a later version than the WCAG 2.0 Level AA referenced by the Israeli standard. It therefore meets the legal requirement and goes beyond it.
What was implemented
The site's accessibility is built into the code itself and does not depend on an external plugin:
- The page language and writing direction are declared in the markup, so a screen reader identifies them correctly on the very first load.
- The entire site can be operated by keyboard alone, without a mouse. The tab order is logical and no component traps focus.
- A clear, sufficiently contrasting focus indicator is shown wherever keyboard focus lands.
- A "Skip to main content" link is the first element on every page.
- Every text and background colour pair has been verified computationally and meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- Every form field has an associated label, worded error messages, and a validity state exposed to screen readers — not just a visual animation.
- The automation-examples dialog is built on the native dialog element: focus moves into it, stays trapped while it is open, and returns to the button that opened it on close.
- All images have alternative text. Decorative images are marked as such so they are not announced needlessly.
- Heading structure is hierarchical and correct, with no skipped levels.
- The site supports text enlargement up to 200% and a 320-pixel-wide viewport with no horizontal scrolling and no loss of content.
- Animations stop automatically for anyone whose operating system requests reduced motion, and can also be stopped manually.
- The site uses no tracking cookies and shows no pop-ups that interfere with use.
The accessibility adjustments menu
An accessibility button in the corner of the screen opens a menu of personal adjustments: larger text (two levels), a high-contrast mode, link highlighting, a readable font and stopping motion. Your choices are saved on your device and persist across visits, and can be reset with a single click.
To be clear: this menu is a convenience, but it is not what makes the site accessible. The accessibility is built into the site’s own code, and the site conforms to the standard without using the menu at all.
What was tested
- Automated testing with the axe-core engine across every page of the site.
- A full manual keyboard-only walkthrough of every component.
- Computational contrast verification of every colour pair used on the site.
- Display testing at 400% zoom and at a 320-pixel viewport width.
- Browsers: current versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox, on desktop and mobile.
Known limitations
We would rather say this openly: there is one component we do not fully control.
- Booking through the calendar uses an external service (Calendly) whose code is not ours. If you have difficulty booking there, contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email and we will book the meeting for you, with no difference in service.
If you encounter any other difficulty not listed here, we would genuinely like to hear about it — every such report helps us improve.
