Privacy policy
Effective from:
At AB Sync we take your privacy seriously. This document explains, in plain language, what personal data is collected when you use this site, what we do with it, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.
It is written to comply with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981 and its regulations (including Amendment 13) and, for data belonging to EU residents, with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller (owner of the database) is:
- Name
- אביב בן חור (ab-sync)
- Address
- הר הצופים 16, קריית שמונה
- aviv@ab-sync.co.il
- Phone
- 055-5026447
You can reach us through any of these channels with any question or request about your data.
2. What data we collect
Information you provide yourself through the contact form:
- Full name — so we know how to address you.
- Phone / WhatsApp number — our main way of getting back to you.
- Email address (optional) — only if you choose to give it, so we can send a confirmation.
- Type of business (optional) — to prepare for the call.
- A free-text description of your challenge (optional) — whatever you choose to write in that field.
- Marketing consent (optional) — only if you explicitly tick the box.
Technical information collected automatically when the form is submitted, purely for security and abuse prevention:
- IP address — used to rate-limit submissions and block automated flooding. It is not stored alongside your enquiry.
- A timestamp, and the language of the page the enquiry came from.
This site uses no tracking cookies, runs no profile-based advertising, and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Our webfonts are served from our own servers, not from Google Fonts.
3. Why we collect it, and the legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry
- Basis: your consent, given by submitting the form. Without these details we simply cannot get back to you.
- Preparing and providing a service proposal
- Basis: consent, and — for EU residents — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- Securing the site and preventing abuse
- Basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service from automated and malicious submissions.
- Marketing communications
- Basis: separate, explicit consent only, under section 30A of the Israeli Communications Law 5742-1982. We will not send you marketing unless you ticked the dedicated box.
4. Providing your data is voluntary
In accordance with the disclosure duty in section 11 of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, we confirm: you are under no legal obligation to give us this information, and providing it depends entirely on your own choice and consent.
What happens if you do not: we will not be able to contact you or hold the diagnostic call. You can always reach us directly on WhatsApp, by phone or by email instead of using the form.
5. Who your data is shared with
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. It is shared only with the service providers that run our infrastructure, and only as far as necessary:
- Netlify, Inc.
- Hosts the site and runs the function that receives the form. Servers are located in the United States and Europe.
- n8n
- The automation platform that routes your enquiry to us. Hosting region: שרת פרטי בפרנקפורט, גרמניה (האיחוד האירופי) — התקנת n8n עצמאית.
- Google LLC
- Gmail and Google Sheets, where the enquiry is received and stored. Servers are located in the United States and other regions.
- Calendly LLC
- Only if you choose to book through the calendar. In that case the details you give Calendly are also subject to their privacy policy.
- Plausible Analytics
- Aggregated, anonymous traffic statistics, hosted in the EU. Uses no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Only active if configured; see section 10.
We may also disclose information where required by law or court order, or to protect our legal rights.
6. Transfers outside Israel
Some of our providers store data outside Israel, principally in the United States and the European Union. Such transfers are made in accordance with the Privacy Protection Regulations (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) 5761-2001, and rely on the providers’ commitment to an adequate level of protection, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that did not lead to an engagement
- 24 months from our last contact with you, after which the data is deleted.
- Client data where we entered a contract
- For the duration of the engagement, and afterwards as required by statutory record-keeping and accounting obligations (generally 7 years).
- Marketing list records
- Until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only the minimum needed to honour that request.
- IP addresses used for security
- Up to 24 hours, then automatically deleted.
8. Security
We take reasonable and accepted measures to protect your data:
- All traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
- Enquiry details are passed server-to-server only — the destination address is never exposed in your browser.
- The handoff to the automation platform is authenticated with a shared secret, so forged submissions cannot be injected.
- Submission rate limiting to prevent automated flooding.
- Access to the data is limited to those who need it to deliver the service.
That said, no system is completely immune. If we become aware of a serious security incident affecting your data, we will act in line with the reporting duties that apply to us by law.
9. Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law you have the following rights:
- Right of access (s. 13)
- To ask to see the information we hold about you.
- Right of correction (s. 14)
- To ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date.
- Right to erasure
- To ask us to delete your data, subject to retention duties imposed on us by law.
- Withdrawal of consent
- To withdraw consent you have given, at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
- Unsubscribing
- To remove yourself from the mailing list at any time — via the link in every message, or by contacting us.
If you are an EU resident you also have GDPR rights: data portability, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (we make no automated decisions about you).
To exercise any of these rights, email us. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask for additional details to verify your identity before releasing information.
10. Cookies and usage measurement
This site uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no social-network pixels. That is why you see no cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.
The only thing stored in your browser is the accessibility preferences you choose (text size, contrast and so on). They live in localStorage on your own device, are never sent to any server, and can be cleared at any moment with the "Reset adjustments" button in the accessibility menu.
If usage measurement is enabled, it runs on Plausible Analytics — a cookieless service that collects aggregate data only (visitor counts, pages viewed, referrer) and cannot identify an individual visitor or track anyone across sites.
11. Marketing communications
Submitting the contact form is consent for us to contact you about that enquiry — it is not consent to marketing.
Marketing messages (tips, updates, content) will only be sent if you explicitly ticked the dedicated consent box on the form. That box is never pre-ticked. Every marketing message carries a simple unsubscribe option, and you can also reply "unsubscribe" or contact us directly.
12. Children
Our services are aimed at business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children under 18. If you become aware that a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current effective date always appears at the top of this page. Material changes — such as adding a new recipient of data or changing the purpose of use — will be published on the site in advance.
14. Contact and complaints
For any privacy question, request or complaint:
- aviv@ab-sync.co.il
- 055-5026447
- הר הצופים 16, קריית שמונה
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice. EU residents may complain to the supervisory authority in their country of residence.
